2-6oz. Halibut Fillets
2 Tbsp. Thin Sliced Ginger
1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves
1/2 cup Thin Sliced Green Onion Tops
2 tbsp. Sliced Garlic
1/2 cup Thin Sliced Green Onion Bottoms
4 tbsp. Light Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Sambal
2 tbsp. Sugar
4 tbsp. Water
4 tbsp. Oil
Make sure halibut fillets have been patted dry and season both sides with salt.
Mix soy, sugar, water and sambal together and set aside.
Heat 2 tbsp. oil in non-stick skillet until smoke starts to come from skillet.
Place halibut presentation side down in skillet and allow to cook on each side for 2-3 min.
While halibut is cooking, heat remaining 2 tbsp. oil in another skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced ginger, garlic and green onion bottoms and saute until tender.
Add soy mixture to vegetable skillet and cook until slightly reduced, about 2 min.
Place cooked halibut fillets on plate and top with cilantro and green onion tops.
Pour sauce and vegetables over the top of fish and serve.
